As a child H.M. The Sole had a near-death experience after being caught under a beach wave. Caught between life and death he had a vision about a future society called Moraceae, and ever since he has been trying to recreate this vision. In 2013 he wrote a book based on his experience and in 2016 he moved to the Isle of Man to further pursue his vision.
As the Sole, King of Moraceae his role is to lead the Moraceaeians to build their first prototype E.G.G-society on the island. The hybrid documentary follows the preparations on how to present Moraceae to the world. A new inclusive narrative that’s based on a totally new set of values. How a gay, black, american king who was raised by Disney films fights to wake up a small traditionalist Island between Ireland and the UK. Fights to grow his following and fights to maintain their hope for an escape.
I did my first interview with H.M. The Sole on the 23rd December 2018, and have been visiting Isle of Man since then.
